Retired Nurse Opens Shelter For Senior Dogs To Give Them Love And Affection In Their Final Days

Nicola Coyle, a retired nurse, is a person who really loves dogs so she decided to open an animal shelter called The Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice Project.

Every dog under her care is being given a trip to the beach and a steak dinner. She dedicated her shelter to help the senior dogs that are expected to live at max 6 months, as they really deserve love at this age.

Nicola takes the dogs who are typically scheduled to be euthanized if no one wants to take them. Whenever you see her home, you find at least 2 or 3 dogs. The retired nurse spends about £500 on each dog just to make them feel cared and loved in the end of their lives.

She said that she did that for the senior dogs as they deserve that and many of them have never had a very nice life too. What a great rescuer. Watch the video below.
